Pour autant, m\u00eame si la d\u00e9mocratie est une dynamique toujours inachev\u00e9e (Rosanvallon 2003), les diff\u00e9rentes organisations souffrent bien souvent d\u2019un d\u00e9ficit ou de difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 faire vivre une d\u00e9mocratie de principes qui reste davantage caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par leurs objectifs et non par leurs proc\u00e9dures de prise de d\u00e9cision (Pharo, 2024). Les SCOP sont r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme les \u201cseuls\u201d exemples de d\u00e9mocratie en entreprise (Ferreras et M\u00e9da 2022), dans la mesure o\u00f9 les salari\u00e9s sont statutairement majoritaires lors des prises de d\u00e9cision, ce qui n\u2019est pas le cas dans les autres organisations de l\u2019ESS. Quels que soient leurs statuts, la gouvernance des diff\u00e9rentes coop\u00e9ratives et\/ou mutuelles, souvent centr\u00e9e sur leurs usagers, ne garantit que rarement une ouverture \u00e0 la citoyennet\u00e9 d\u2019entreprise \u00e0 tous leurs salari\u00e9s voire \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble de leurs parties prenantes (Pharo, 2024) et risquent m\u00eame de conna\u00eetre une certaine d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence d\u00e9mocratique (e.g., Bretos et al., 2020; Jaumier et Daudigeos, 2021; Pastier, 2024; Pek, 2021; Gombert et al., 2022).
